C Color’s Ideology is based on Johannes Itten’s observation, while teaching at the Bauhaus School in Germany, in the 1900s.

Itten, the artist and teacher, realized that his art students painted with colors that appeared the best on them. Itten believed that there were certain characteristics inherent in particular colors that would have a direct influence on how the viewer felt.

Itten also discovered that color harmony is individual and that an individual will, if given free reign and little knowledge, find his or her own “subjective colors”. Itten posed the question, “Is it any surprise that many of us feel deeply influenced by the colors around us, and have more than one favorite?”

Intuitively, we are aware of our colors, but, most of us have no cognitive understanding of the optimal colors to wear or those that are appropriate for our environments.

We live in a world defined by color and color evokes emotional and behavioral responses. Every individual is intrinsically drawn toward certain colors. C Color assists you in living in your optimal color environment.

The C Color theory is applicable to every aspect of your life; the colors you paint your walls, the furniture that you choose, the colors of your nail polish, cosmetics and hair, even the color of your vehicle.

The colors that can enrich your appearance and life are not a result of your hair colors, eye colors or complexion colors, as all are external factors. The C Color Ideology is based, on the preferences that you were born with, therefore, a color gene, within your DNA.

Due to the fact, that an individual is instinctively drawn to the colors in their C Color Spectrum, a person’s C Color Spectrum remains consistent throughout life. Additionally, there are no overlapping C Color Spectrums.

Each of the four C Color Spectrums consists of virtually all colors and every individual wears virtually all colors, however, the base of the colors in each C Color Spectrum differ. The C Color App is your personal C Color Consultant and assists you in selecting colors that were created with the optimal base.
